David started his career at the age of 12 helping out back stage at the Midlands Arts Centre in Birmingham. At 16 he was taken on as a work experience trainee for a year, before moving on to the Birmingham Hippodrome as a freelance electrician & sound engineer.

After 7 years at the Hippodrome, David spent a year travelling around Europe before returning to the UK and moving to London as a freelance engineer.

Over the past 25 years he has worked with many top International artists and large scale musical theatre shows in the UK & Europe.

Having toured the UK many times he has gained vast experience of all the major venues in the country, getting numerous good comments about the quality of sound on many different shows.
